On Friday, July 10, the Sunset Concert Series will present local favorite Victor Wainwright & The Train at 7:30 PM in the Riverfront Esplanade across from the Brown & Brown Insurance building at 355 N. Beach Street in Downtown Daytona Beach.

Victor Wainwright — 2019 Grammy nominee and seven-time Blues Music Award winner, five-time Blue Music Piano Award winner, and BB King Entertainer of the Year Award winner, returns to Daytona Beach! Victor’s formative years as a bluesman began in Daytona Beach at 18, while attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and majoring in air traffic control. He practiced his chops at Angell & Phelps Cafe. Though his career began over a decade ago with genuine rock n’ roll honky-tonk, Wainwright has broadened his artistic scope over the years to include music representing virtually every corner of the blues. Composer, producer, vocalist, award-winning entertainer, and piano player, Victor Wainwright is a raucous, high-octane, dynamic performer and crowd-pleaser with soul to spare.

The Sunset Concert Series is a partnership between Al Smith Productions and the Riverfront Esplanade dedicated to bringing a new entertainment venue to Downtown Daytona. The venue is located on the manicured lawn of the Riverfront Esplanade and takes full advantage of a stunning view overlooking the Intracoastal. It offers plenty of free parking, well-maintained bathrooms, and a basic liquor bar.
