The Film Independent SPIRIT Awards are hosted beach-side in Santa Monica, the night before the Oscars, to celebrate Hollywood underdogs, film nerds and great small-budget American cinema artworks. From among the 2020 nominees, Cinematique screened all 5 of the Best Features, plus 10 more films across all 18 award categories fielded last year (despite many being unavailable due to our former – and now solved – projector limitations!).
