Grateful Dead fans won’t want to miss this two-night tribute to Jerry Garcia at the Riverfront Esplanade. The Days Between refers to the 9 days between Jerry Garcia’s birthday (August 1) and his death (August 9), as well as to a Grateful Dead song. This Sunset Concert event will feature two outstanding bands to celebrate the life and legacy of Jerry Garcia.

Friday’s concert will feature The Cosmic Jam, a band from New Smyrna Beach that jams to covers from the Grateful Dead and defines itself as, “Where Rock And Jam Band Worlds Collide.” The Rap Jacks, Saturday’s band, were formed in the heart of Central Florida, in the Orlando area, and have become a local favorite and a powerhouse in the Grateful Dead tribute world.
