Watch health documentaries at DB library

Learn the latest information about stress, infectious diseases and the opioid epidemic during a month-long documentary series at the Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 E. Magnolia Ave.

• “Disease Warriors”: 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Before there was an understanding of infectious diseases, few weapons were available to fight it. This documentary chronicles the groundbreaking work of early researchers, such as Louis Pasteur, who unmasked germs as the source of illness. 56 minutes.
