DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, July 10\, the Sunset Concert Series will present local favorite Victor Wainwright & The Train at 7:30 PM in the Riverfront Esplanade across from the Brown & Brown Insurance building at 355 N. Beach Street in Downtown Daytona Beach. \nVictor Wainwright — 2019 Grammy nominee and seven-time Blues Music Award winner\, five-time Blue Music Piano Award winner\, and BB King Entertainer of the Year Award winner\, returns to Daytona Beach! Victor’s formative years as a bluesman began in Daytona Beach at 18\, while attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and majoring in air traffic control. He practiced his chops at Angell & Phelps Cafe. Though his career began over a decade ago with genuine rock n’ roll honky-tonk\, Wainwright has broadened his artistic scope over the years to include music representing virtually every corner of the blues. Composer\, producer\, vocalist\, award-winning entertainer\, and piano player\, Victor Wainwright is a raucous\, high-octane\, dynamic performer and crowd-pleaser with soul to spare. \nThe Sunset Concert Series is a partnership between Al Smith Productions and the Riverfront Esplanade dedicated to bringing a new entertainment venue to Downtown Daytona. The venue is located on the manicured lawn of the Riverfront Esplanade and takes full advantage of a stunning view overlooking the Intracoastal.
